Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Hudson County NJ
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $140000- $145000 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite daily
Hours: 8-5 Monday thru Friday
Job Title: Financial Controller
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, (CPA a plus)
Requirements:
US Citizenship required
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Strong GAAP (General Accepted Account Principles) knowledge and regulatory compliance experience
Industry experience in manufacturing or regulated industry
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Cost accounting and inventory management experience
Experience managing and developing a team
Responsibilities :
Oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash management
Lead FP&A, profitability analysis by product/customer, KPI tracking, and forecasting model development
Manage month-end and year-end close ensuring GAAP and regulatory compliance
Establish and strengthen internal controls across GL, AP/AR, payroll, sales tax, and expense management
