Actalent Pharmacy Technician in Northlake, Texas
Actalent is looking for an overnight pharmacy technician located in Northlake, TX for a closed-door pharmacy!
Job duties:
Process new patient registrations using Walgreens prescription data entry procedures and guidelines
Handle patient prescription requests in compliance with HIPAA standards
Enter refill orders, troubleshoot missing or incomplete prescription information, and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes)
Resolve data entry‑related exceptions
Operate automated fulfillment machinery and transition inventory through workflow stages with a strong focus on quality control
Count, fill, and label prescriptions; package and ship medications
Clean and help maintain machinery and ensure an organized, safe work area
Resolve Third Party Rejects by reviewing requirements, correcting information, and resubmitting claims for processing
Support pharmacists on‑site and at other locations; escalate issues to senior staff as needed
Schedule/pay:
21+/hour

Qualifications:
Maintain active pharmacy technician licensure/certification as required
High School Diploma or GED
Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas (required)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
2+ years of pharmacy technician experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.60/hr.
