Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Northlake, Texas. This long-term contract position involves providing technical assistance and support to ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and specialized systems within a manufacturing environment. The role requires a proactive individual who excels at troubleshooting, customer service, and adapting to a fast-paced workplace.
Title: Desktop Support
Location: Northlake, Tx
Duration: 2-3 months contract
Pay: $25-30 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive hardware and software support for devices such as PCs, laptops, printers, and iPads used in a manufacturing setting.
• Manage equipment setups, relocations, and onboarding processes for new users while handling peripheral procurement.
• Image and reimage devices efficiently using specialized tools and systems.
• Provide technical assistance for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Support proprietary manufacturing systems, with training provided for specific applications.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate gear like lab coats, safety shoes, and hair or beard nets when on the production floor.
• Respond promptly to technical issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with end users to address technical concerns while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of devices and peripherals while ensuring timely updates and replacements.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS and iOS devices, including PCs, laptops, and iPads.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently while supporting a large user base.
• Familiarity with device imaging tools and processes.
• Knowledge of Active Directory is helpful, though most tasks are managed by the corporate team.
