DMS Imaging Nuclear Medicine Technologist; 1 day a week! in Northfield, Minnesota

We offer an excellent compensation package: $55.00-$60.00/hour plus an annual profit-share bonus of 4%, paid the hourly rate door-to-door for mobile positions, mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for all but 60 miles/trip, cell phone stipend, clothing allowance and much more! Visit our website to learn more about our remarkable company: https://www.dmshealth.com/ We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Minnesota to work Tuesday each week in Northfield, MN! Essential Duties Performs imaging procedures that meet the quality expectations of the patient, referring physician, and radiologist. Follows the orders of the referring physician and protocols specified by the radiologist. Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by the physician order. Views images to ensure quality of pictures and transferring images to the Radiologist for interpretation and verifying the images and patient information arrived correctly. Explains medical procedures to patients and answering any questions they may have. Follows safety procedures to protect the patients and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure. Monitors and observes any unusual reactions patients may have to drugs. Maintains detailed procedural records. Complies with safety and quality procedures and initiatives by strictly following safety policies, rules and safe work methods, making suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety, promptly correcting or reporting safety hazards or unsafe conditions, and promptly reporting injuries for timely diagnoses and medical treatment. This position requires travel up to 100% of the time. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and/or Experience A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management, analytical, organizational, empathy, critical thinking and analytical skills. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining great patient care as well as superior quality of exams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. The ability to work well independently with limited direct supervision. PC proficiency to access internet websites, review on-line documentation and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Testing CNMT or ARRT (N) CPR certified Mandatory education provided by DMS State licensure if required To ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, the following vaccinations, titers, or declinations and health requirements are required: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella); Varicella (Chickenpox); Hepatitis B Series; Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis); annual Influenza vaccine; COVID-19 vaccination, if required by facility policy; Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines) Physical Demands Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl Climb up and down stairs Push and pull wheelchairs Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Background Check Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening, in accordance with applicable laws.
