Crate & Barrel Senior Product Manager; Ad-Tech & Customer Data in Northbrook, Illinois
As the Senior Product Manager for Marketing Technology – Ad-Tech & Customer Data, you will serve as the strategic leader responsible for architecting the intersection of our customer data infrastructure and advertising technology stack. In this high-impact role, you will drive the optimization of customer experiences, advanced measurement, and personalized activation across social, paid, display, and other digital channels. You will define and execute a transformative MarTech roadmap that empowers Performance Marketing, CRM, and Analytics teams by leveraging a unified customer view and robust data orchestration. By blending agile delivery with expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and identity resolution, you will act as a primary subject matter expert, navigating complex data landscapes and identifying innovative digital solutions that align with core business objectives and stakeholder needs.

A day in the life as a Senior Technology Product Manager...
Define the priority, scope, and direction for a comprehensive Ad-Tech and Customer Data strategy, ensuring alignment of complex product workstreams that support Performance Marketing, CRM, and business goals
Establish clear and measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that track the success of audience activation and customer data health to inform high-level strategic decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology, eCommerce, CRM and Marketing teams across the portfolio to support timely, efficient, and predictable delivery
Leverage a comprehensive understanding of the MarTech ecosystem including CDPs, identity resolution, and server-side tracking (CAPI) to proactively align roadmaps and data dependencies across the organization
Execute “best in class” MarTech product management methodologies, continually evolving data-driven techniques to improve audience
Oversee the entire product lifecycle of customer data solutions, from initial data ingestion and identity stitching to activation across paid media channels, measurement and data extraction
Manage the product and opportunity backlogs to consistently innovate in ways that enhance the unified customer profile and improve the overall digital customer journey
Guide and influence the priority, scope, and direction of multiple product streams, ensuring a seamless integration between ad-tech execution and the foundational customer data layer
Identify, evaluate, and recommend external MarTech vendors, such as CDPs and Identity Resolution providers, and manage those relationships including contract negotiations and performance renewals
Manage relationships with external vendors and customer success teams

Extensive knowledge of Product Management best practices and strategies
Strong Stakeholder Management skills with the a bility to think strategically and align product decisions with business goals
Strong Data Analysis skills and the ability to use data to inform product decisions
Proficiency in agile methodologies
Ability to identify and solve complex problems, with a focus on finding creative solutions in order to achieve results and deliver impactful products
Adaptability and a willingness to learn and experiment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet

8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital marketing, customer data and/or marketing technology
Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects
Experience with ad-tech business tools
Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
Python experience a plus
