Job Title: Microarray Operator Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Microarray Operator for the third shift, working from 10pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Thursday. This role involves setting daily schedules, supervising machine operations, and ensuring quality production output. You will also perform data entry, equipment maintenance, and follow GMP standards.
Responsibilities
Assist in setting the daily schedule, priorities, and task delegation.
Supervise and set up machines such as microarrayers, perform changeovers, troubleshoot, and manage defective products for daily operations.
Monitor team members for quality production output using PLC controls, routine quality inspection checks, integrity testing, and visual inspections.
Notify management of defects found during quality checks.
Perform data entry into ERP systems like Oracle regularly.
Follow work instructions, product specifications, and SOPs to maintain quality data.
Utilize lab equipment like pipettes, centrifuges, Bio-safety cabinets, and degas systems to provide material for Microarrayers.
Share knowledge and train co-workers or new hires as needed.
Perform equipment preventative maintenance and quarterly maintenance activities, such as cleaning cleanrooms.
Adhere to GMP, Safety, and PPE standards.
Properly handle and discard hazardous materials.
Follow daily and weekly lab cleaning routines using the 5S methodology.
Meet daily production goals and minimize downtime.
Effectively communicate with management and maintenance teams.
Participate in department and company meetings.
Adhere to attendance policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience working in an FDA-approved cleanroom.
High attention to detail.
Experience operating more than one machine.
Experience wearing PPE.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in machine operation, production processes, and cleanroom environments.
Familiarity with feeder systems, PLCs, ISO standards, medical device inspection, and computer operation.

Work Environment
You will work in a temperature-controlled cleanroom environment, requiring you to wear appropriate attire, such as smocks, hair nets, and shoe covers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
