Position Summary

Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management. Provides support in the generation of forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business. Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning. Assists in the creation of financial models such as "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans by collaborating with stakeholders to gather inputs, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for financial targets and resource allocation.

  • Supports and reviews in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to help provide leadership with insights.

  • Supports the forecasting process by analyzing trends, identifying key drivers, and preparing financial models to evaluate different scenarios and their impact on financial outcomes.

  • Identifies areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue enhancement strategies.

  • Provides interactive thought partnership in the process of improving our forecasting methodologies, data collection, and analysis techniques to enhance forecasting capabilities.

  • Identifies opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data accuracy.

  • Edits and improves team processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and identifies bottlenecks or areas for improvement and implements changes to optimize team performance.

  • The ability to organize and structure key team projects and manage deliverable deadlines. Owns the quality assurance of executed work products before delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years work experience in a professional setting/business focused.

  • Experience working with large dataset manipulation or “Data-wrangling”

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with presenting key findings

  • Clear communication and presentation skills (verbal/written) with the ability to synthesize information and articulate a clear story

  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or currently enrolled in a four year Bachelor's program.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
