Job Description
Join our team as a Packer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate filling and packaging of liquids and powders. We offer multiple shifts to accommodate your schedule: 1st shift (4:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Thursday), 2nd shift (2:00pm-12:30am, Monday-Thursday), and a weekend shift (5:00am-6:00pm, Friday-Sunday) where you work 36 hours and get paid for 40.
Responsibilities
Utilize computer systems and handle related documentation.
Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Fill liquids and powders into tanks using scales for accurate measurements.
Weigh out raw materials accurately according to formulas.
Operate forklifts to move products on the production floor.
Handle written compounder materials and use computer knowledge.
Select appropriate tanks based on manufacturing requirements and batch size.
Pick required raw materials from the warehouse following formulas.
Scan raw materials with a barcode scanner ensuring lot number and quantity accuracy.
Stage and add materials to tanks following work order instructions; forklift operation may be required.
Fill and pack orders according to sales orders ensuring accurate weight and using specified labels and sifter screens.
Follow GMP, safety guidelines, and procedures.
Be open to cross-training and helping in different departments.
Essential Skills
Ability to work around chemicals/food-grade materials in a GMP environment.
Proficiency in using scales, pumps, valves, and air mixers.
Capability to lift 50 lbs.
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
Attention to detail in labeling and packing logs.
Comfortable wearing a respirator.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing and compounding.
Knowledge of material handling and chemical processes.
Ability to perform unloading and order picking.
Understanding of packaging and production processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
