The Senior OT Security / Manufacturing Lead will support a large-scale initiative focused on securing and standardizing Operational Technology (OT) environments across multiple manufacturing sites. This role will lead an end-to-end assessment of manufacturing systems, including full asset discovery, validation of existing inventories, and identification of system dependencies across environments.

This individual will operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and must be comfortable leading independently. Responsibilities include engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders to assess patching capabilities, security risks, and system limitations, while documenting findings and establishing a structured remediation and governance plan. This is a long-cycle assessment initiative that will ultimately translate into a security roadmap and ongoing operational cadence.

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of experience within IT/OT in manufacturing or industrial environments

• Strong experience in regulated environments (GxP, pharma preferred)

• Proven experience leading end-to-end technical assessments or security initiatives

• Hands-on exposure to OT systems (PLCs, HMIs, legacy/client-server environments)

• Strong understanding of OT security (patching, segmentation, risk management)

• Experience with security tools (CrowdStrike, Tanium, SIEM, vulnerability tools)

• Experience working directly with vendors (patching feasibility, system support)

• Strong knowledge of Windows environments and legacy infrastructure

• Familiarity with databases (SQL or similar)

• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders

• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

• Experience across global or multi-site manufacturing environments

• Exposure to asset management / CMDB • Experience with automation or AI initiatives

• Background in infrastructure or network architecture
