ob description
Put your AutoCAD work experience into drafting high-end custom residential and commercial woodwork and cabinetry.
- Transform plans from architects and designers for woodwork and cabinetry into detailed shop drawings.
- Work closely with project managers and step out onto the floor to see your projects coming to life.
- Design the most efficient and practical designs for fabrication and installation.
- Some research of materials and hardware components, kitchen appliances, etc. for size and fit.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, 3d drawing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Teams
- Know various cabinetry construction and joinery methods
- Ability to follow procedures and AWI standards of quality for premium millwork projects.
- Strong Attention to Detail.
- Interact and communicate positively with others.
- Good work habits are a must: Reliable, Dependable, Good Attitude, Organized, and Cooperative.
- Strong Time Management Skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Woodworking/ Construction background helpful.
- ENGINEERS: This position is in a woodworking firm. Our "engineers" are drafts people who create detailed shop drawings in AutoCAD based off architectural drawings for Luxury home interiors and high end commercial millwork packages .. Take pride in knowing your work is going into high-end millwork projects .
