Responsibilities:

[· Supports shift inspectors through measuring and testing product.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Initiate and train inspectors on quality processes.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Provides shift inspectors training as needed based on NCR's and/or RMA's.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Conduct layered quality audits.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Log inspection data and file lot traceability and inspection forms.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Assists with managing and maintaining the Non-Conformance / Hold Area.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Create, revise and maintain process books and work instructions.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Communicate with customers and/or suppliers regarding quality matters.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Ensure inspections and process books are consistent with ECN changes.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Assist with the launch of new products and customers.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Creates certificate of compliance and certificate of analysis records for shipments.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Participate in internal & external audit processes when required.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Support PPM goals and scorecard improvements by providing data for reporting.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Participate in Lean cell improvements and Kaizen events.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Assist with FAIR's and PPAP's and new product introduction.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Create and maintain WinSPC Logs and other Inspection Logs.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Qualifications / Requirements:

[· 3-5 years of experience in a related industry or discipline highly desired.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Machining / plastic injection molding experience highly desired.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· High school degree, GED, or equivalent years of experience.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Auditing, metrology equipment (CMM, calipers, height gage, micrometers), and an understanding of formal problem solving are highly beneficial.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Intermediate level technical ability.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Strong knowledge in ERP, statistical software, Microsoft Windows, and Office Suite.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and tooling prints.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[· Strong mathematical skills desired.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
