Smurfit Westrock Key Account Manager in North Richmond, Australia
Position Summary:
To act as the customer liaison for Smurfit WestRock, ensuring we service, build and maintain strong customer relationships and a solid profile in the industry.
Responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities within existing accounts to ensure profitability and sales growth targets are met.
The role is responsible for:
Negotiating strong pricing and contract terms in accordance with the WestRock\u2019s policies and procedures. Negotiating price increases as required.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing key customers and establish business relationships with potential customers.
Provide strong market intelligence, by reporting & developing competitive information on market conditions, new product ideas, industry trends and sales strategies. Maintain current market knowledge through a strong presence in the industry and at networking events.
Identify opportunities within existing and new accounts by promoting WestRock\u2019s vertically integrated product and service offering. Provide customers with value-added solutions / products to enhance the current sale (up-selling) and overall account profitability.
Provide accurate customer forecasts volumes, with responsibility for forecasting performance KPI\u2019s.
Identify poor performing accounts and identify strategies for turnaround or exiting the account.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred.
