Smurfit Westrock Die-Cutting Operator Trainee in North Richmond, Australia
About The Role:
Assist the Die Cut Operator to convert and embellish flat end and printed sheets into single units to be folded, glued, etc.
What You\u2019ll Do:
Set up machine to the standard required in preparation for the conversion or embellishment (make ready)
Assess product for meeting quality standards, undertake quality checks
Operate die cutting machine to meet quality and productivity requirements
Monitor machine operation to ensure continuous running
Conduct routine maintenance in accordance with the Daily Equipment Care checklist
Review workload to ensure all preparation work is managed in a timely manner to ensure continuous running of the machine
Assist in cross training other staff where applicable
Coordinate and liaise with offsider to ensure jobs are prepped
