Smurfit Westrock Maintenance Administrator in North Richland Hills, Texas
Maintenance Clerk updates existing purchase order information such as unit cost, quantity and shipping details on an as-needed basis to ensure ERP system accuracy.
Primary Duties
Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.
Issue Purchase Orders for both inventory / expense items
Monitor and manage open Purchase Orders / Track shipments
Enforce PO date requirements for timely delivery of goods from vendors
Ability to enter / process Work Orders and enter / maintain BOM's
Work with Receiving Department to resolve inventory issues
Support maintenance with work orders, parts consumption, creating PO's from part order forms.
Become familiar with part numbers / product lines via inventory system
Create work orders as needed.
All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
3+ or more years of Purchasing / Inventory Management experience.
Excellent data entry skills
Have familiarity with BOM's and Work Orders. Must understand the flow processes associated with BOM's and WO's
Must be able to identify/analyze inventory issues/concerns
Excellent organizational skills and extremely detail oriented
Excellent follow-through skills are mandatory
Strong telephone etiquette and ability to effectively communicate with vendors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Ability to multi-task, work independently and engage with peers as part of a team
