Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) , you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.

  • Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team

  • Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely

  • Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds

  • Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly

  • Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County.
