Teradyne Mechanical Engineering Intern, Summer 2026 (Teradyne, N Reading, MA) in North Reading, Massachusetts

Opportunity Overview

This position will be part of the Defense and Aerospace Mechanical Engineering team, assisting Sr Engineers with project design and documentation. This will include but not limited to enclosures, fixtures, and cables.

  • Implement design updates to Solidworks Models and Drawings

  • Build Prototypes to verify designs

This is a full-time position onsite in North Reading from June-August 2026.

  • Must be working toward BS in Mechanical Engineering (2 years min)

  • Prior co-op experience preferred

  • Ability to Multi-task by contributing to multiple projects

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks 2025 Assemblies and Drawings

  • Must be able to generate Mechanical design and documentation of components and assemblies including generating complete detailed drawings of piece part and assemblies

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs required

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus.

  • Previous experience with 3D printing desirable.

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:

The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
