As a Business Analyst II, you will oversee supply chain initiatives for assigned products, collaborating cross-functionally with sourcing, planning, product, and engineering teams. The role demands balancing commercial and technical trade-offs to achieve sustained operational excellence and cost optimization. Your experience in global supply chain management and a self-driven approach will be crucial to your success.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with supply chain teams to identify and drive sustaining operational improvements, such as cost reduction, lead time optimization, and risk management.
Serve as the single point of contact for program resources to communicate supply chain decisions and progress.
Synthesize inputs from Sourcing, Planning, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance to create balanced recommendations that drive operational excellence and cost reduction targets.
Execute cost reduction roadmaps measuring total cost of ownership, including spares, service, replacements, tariffs, and logistics impacts.
Own lead time optimization analysis with clear reduction roadmaps and transparent reporting.
Maintain ownership of supply chain requirements throughout General Availability (GA) and end-of-life phases.
Coordinate cross-functional implementation for post-launch design changes (Engineering Change Orders).
Drive root cause analysis and process improvements to ensure sustained operational excellence across the product lifecycle.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or product operations management in electromechanical commodities.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder supply chain initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable insights.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Experience with supplier relationship management and performance tracking.
Knowledge of global hardware and electromechanical supply chains.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in robotics, electromechanical systems, or similar technology-intensive industries.
Background in both New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustained operations supply chain management.
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or product operations management.
Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain Management, or Engineering) is preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (Agile).
Demonstrated success in cost reduction and lead time optimization initiatives.
Experience with scenario planning and risk mitigation in complex supply chains.
Knowledge of tariff management and trade compliance.
Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
Experience with Product Development Process (PDP) frameworks.
High degree of autonomy in decision-making, with clear judgment on when to escalate versus resolve independently.
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite in Boston, MA, US. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and data-driven environment, emphasizing cross-functional teamwork, process standardization, and ownership. The role provides exposure to industry-leading AI-powered analytics and offers visibility to Director leadership. You will be part of a team managing a large-scale supply chain organization across robotics and automation, gaining valuable experience in managing 30+ product lines in a fast-paced industrial automation setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
