Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Join a dynamic team supporting assembly and material handling, where you will play a crucial role in production and product packaging. Use hand and power tools to perform assemblies on an assembly line, follow work procedures, and gain experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. You will learn skills to support the materials team, ensuring smooth inventory movement and production flow.
Responsibilities
Perform robotic assembly and testing.
Facilitate material movement and data collection.
Conduct manual assembly and component testing.
Perform visual inspection and inventory tracking.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for assembling and repairing large mechanical assemblies.
Manual dexterity for assembly tasks.
Physical strength and endurance to handle components up to 50 lbs.
Ability to use basic power tools.
Follow detailed work instructions for each assembly job.
Work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently.
Ability to learn new tasks and work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as 5S and Kaizen.
Experience with manufacturing execution systems.
Certificate or degree in electro-mechanical fields.
Experience using pallet jacks and any shipping experience.

This is a Contract position based out of NORTH READING, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
