The Ring team is looking for a passionate and talented Android Software Development Engineer who has experience building world-class mobile apps. You will be responsible for developing mobile applications that interact seamlessly with our devices and delight our customers.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the technical design and building of major features for Ring mobile applications
Lead the development of our application architecture and resolve architecture deficiencies
Develop features and solve complex problems using Android Studio, Kotlin, AI, and a variety of other tooling
Develop with the performance, quality, and responsiveness of in mind
Collaborate with a cross-functional agile teams to create, and deliver new features
Ensure operational excellence by resolving application issues and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Use AI to deliver features efficiently - this can include creating features, unit tests, generate code, documents, tickets, resolve defects, optimize code, and much more
Develop the best in your fellow builders

Get to use the latest and greatest AI technologies in order to deliver high quality features
Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices
Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways
Regularly work with backend developers to help support how our app integrates with back-end services
Write well-tested code using modern architectural principles

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
