Full-Time Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour (DOE and licenses) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed) Work Location: In person Hours: 40 hours per week, year-round work
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Heating Technician to perform installation, repair, and maintenance of heating systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform heating system repairs and routine maintenance
- Install, repair, and maintain boilers, furnaces, pipes, and related equipment
- Diagnose heating system issues and recommend effective solutions
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure system reliability
- Follow all safety procedures, building codes, and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Keep service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Perform regular vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Heating Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of heating systems and equipment repair
- Experience with natural gas heating systems
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
