We are seeking a dedicated Sales Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves reviewing electrical drawings to count lighting fixtures for projects, ensuring orders are processed promptly, checking the status of existing orders, and maintaining communication with contractors regarding their orders. The position also requires creating and reviewing lighting submittals for contractor approvals and coordinating with vendors and contractors on stock status and shipping dates.
Responsibilities
Review electrical drawings to perform take-offs of lighting fixtures for projects.
Ensure timely entry and processing of orders.
Check the status of existing orders and backorders.
Maintain communication with contractors about their existing orders.
Create and send lighting submittals for contractor approvals.
Review approved lighting submittals to ensure they meet client expectations.
Communicate with vendors and contractors regarding stock status and ship dates.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service.
Proficient in customer service and retail sales.
Strong communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Proficient in computer use, including Bluebeam software, Excel, and PDF manipulation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Good customer service skills.
Experience with data and order entry is beneficial.
Work Environment
The work schedule includes Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Employees will have Sundays and one additional weekday off. The role involves using technology and software for daily tasks, and a professional dress code is expected.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Miami, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
