Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a DevSecOps student that is motivated to contribute and learn DevSecOps principles and technologies. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and comfortable learning new technologies, as well as adhering to existing processes. We are looking for someone who can stick to a task and pull from many resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Designs, implements, manages, and documents DevSecOps pipeline tooling from end-to-end following established industry standards
Helps establish secure, reusable solutions and processes
Supports a Software Factory via build pipelines and associated tooling
Assists in migrating the current on-premises environment to Azure
Follows directions from DevSecOps team members
Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Required Qualifications:
Must be enrolled at Utah State University
Must be pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields
Must have at least one year of school remaining
Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summers
Must have a desire to learn DevSecOps, information technology, software development, and build management systems
Experience coding or scripting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and with team members
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with common coding tools and software development environments such as Linux, Git, VSCode, GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker
