Additionally, the Dean will manage the public - private relationship with Baptist Health and St. Vincent Health for the occupational therapy assistant and radiography programs. The Dean will promote and ensure a student learning success environment that supports faculty in innovative and relevant teaching practices.rThe Dean directly supports planning, budgeting, evaluation, and development of existing and new programs, as well as facilitating coordination across academic disciplines to ensure student and program success. In this work, the Dean will work collaboratively with administrative personnel, department chairs, program directors, faculty, and colleagues across campus for program development, recruitment, and retention initiatives. The Dean will also work with other deans and the Provost to advance UA-PTC\'s mission.rGeneral Responsibilities:rr Teaches two courses annually;rr Assures that the college\'s strategic objectives are met through robust assessment practices;rr Fosters a culture of evidence-based practice with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion for students, faculty, and staff;rr Maintains accreditations with state, regional, and national organizations;rr Provides leadership in the evaluation and professional development of administrative personnel, department chairs, program directors, faculty, and staff; conducts annual and comprehensive evaluations f r faculty, staff, assigned programs, services, and activities;rr Develops and directs the preparation and management of budgets and provides oversight for effective resource management;rr Fosters a culture of transparent and consistent communication with faculty and staff in the school, as well as with college and community partners;rr Provides high-level leadership including mentoring and coaching for faculty and staff;rr Develops, monitors, and implements goals and objectives that are directly aligned to the UA-PTC Strategic Plan;rr Holds regular meetings with faculty and staff to ensure communication, collaboration, and effectiveness of programs;rr Facilitates and supports faculty-driven science, mathematics, and allied health instructional activities;rr Promotes the assessment of academic outcomes in order to determine the effectiveness of student learning;rr Assists faculty in the development of student learning outcomes as aligned to Program Learning Outcomes and Institutional Learning Outcomes.
