Robert Half Sales Support & Document Control Specialist in North Liberty, Iowa

Description

We are seeking a highly detailed individual to support a global company for an open-ended long-term contract. This role provides critical support across sales, supplier quality, supply chain, and customer service teams. The ideal candidate is flexible, highly organized, systems‑comfortable, and able to switch between tasks quickly while maintaining accuracy and composure. This position manages documentation, assists with sales support activities, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

Document Control & Administration

  • Maintain, update, and organize customer and supplier documentation, certifications, and specifications.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents, following established procedures.

  • Support audits and compliance checks through effective record management.

Sales & Customer Support

  • Provide timely and professional support to sales and customer service teams.

  • Assist with quotes, product information, order details, and customer documentation needs.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal partners.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and sales teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth processing of documentation and customer requests.

  • Help identify gaps in information and proactively seek solutions.

Operational Responsiveness

  • Handle shifting priorities and multiple tasks without losing focus or accuracy.

  • Stay composed when faced with urgent requests or incomplete information.

  • Adapt to process changes, updated requirements, and new systems as needed.
