2nd Shift Mechanical Assembly

Responsibilities:

· Mount finished lenses into frames, securing them using hand tools like screwdrivers and pliers ensuring proper optical alignment and orientation.

· Verify lens power, axis, and prism using lensometers; check for surface defects (scratches, coatings).to ensure they meet, prescriptions specifications.

· Adjust, replace, or repair broken frames and lenses

· Use precision instruments (calipers, lensometers) to measure and verify alignment and prescriptions on lenses

· Ensure a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency.

· Keep accurate records of production goals

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

· 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience

· Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

· Physical stamina to stand or bend for long periods, working with small parts and handling light to moderate lifting.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong ability to interpret technical work orders prescriptions, drawings and specifications.

· Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members

Schedule Needed:

Monday through Friday 3:30 pm-12:00 am.

Pay Details: $20.25 per hour
