F3 Metalworks, Inc. Fabrication Utility in NORTH EAST, Pennsylvania

F3 provides an attendance incentive atop base wage, plus on-the-job training to up-skill in fabrication. Ability to read/interpret blueprints is a must have for this position.
Our production team operates on a (4) 10's schedule, Mon - Thurs.
First and potential 2nd shift availablity.
This role is at our North East (16428) facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Read/interpret blueprints
- Learn proper safety processes and procedures
- Read process sheets and check frequently for updates
- Identify and verify part names and numbers
- Ensure use of proper materials and equipment prior to use
- Setup tooling for the following machines: spot weld, PEM insertion, graining, sander, assembly
- Some large assembly (prior experience a plus)
- Document use and wear of all tooling
- Complete process checks prior to and during operation to confirm the following: tolerances, proper machine function, and quality standards
- Maintain accuracy and motivation on repetitive jobs
- Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift
- Ensure machines and tools are clean and in proper working condition prior to, during and after use
- Initiate process improvements
- Assist in the implementation of manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency
- Support the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs
- Communicate clearly with the next shift regarding the following: Completed items, urgent items, machine/job details, items scheduled next, report any broken tooling or machinery in a timely manner
- Open to learning new skills and willingness to help with multiple projects/areas is a must
Experience
Required Skills:
- Ability to follow directions

- Blueprint reading
Nice-to-Haves:
- Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior large assembly experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with lean principles

Physical Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 55 lbs. on your own and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift or equipment assistance
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, stand for 10 hours
- Ability to work in high temperatures
- Ability to communicate needs and concerns in a timely manner
- Ability to read and understand process sheets
- Ability to hear horns, buzzers, and an intercom page, and respond accordingly
- Ability to wear proper PPE- eye protection, gloves, and steel or safety toe shoes or boots
- Ability to use electrical and manual tools
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Ability to use and understand MIE (MRP system)
