F3 provides an attendance incentive atop base wage, plus on-the-job training to up-skill in fabrication. Ability to read/interpret blueprints is a must have for this position.

Our production team operates on a (4) 10's schedule, Mon - Thurs.

First and potential 2nd shift availablity.

This role is at our North East (16428) facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Read/interpret blueprints
2. Learn proper safety processes and procedures
3. Read process sheets and check frequently for updates
4. Identify and verify part names and numbers
5. Ensure use of proper materials and equipment prior to use
6. Setup tooling for the following machines: spot weld, PEM insertion, graining, sander, assembly
7. Some large assembly (prior experience a plus)
8. Document use and wear of all tooling
9. Complete process checks prior to and during operation to confirm the following: tolerances, proper machine function, and quality standards
10. Maintain accuracy and motivation on repetitive jobs
11. Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift
12. Ensure machines and tools are clean and in proper working condition prior to, during and after use
13. Initiate process improvements
14. Assist in the implementation of manufacturing processes
15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency
16. Support the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures
17. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs
18. Communicate clearly with the next shift regarding the following: Completed items, urgent items, machine/job details, items scheduled next, report any broken tooling or machinery in a timely manner
19. Open to learning new skills and willingness to help with multiple projects/areas is a must

Experience

Required Skills:

1. Ability to follow directions
2. Nimble learning abilities
3. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
4. Blueprint reading

Nice-to-Haves:

1. Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
2. Prior large assembly experience
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Familiarity with lean principles

Physical Job Requirements

1. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 55 lbs. on your own and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift or equipment assistance
2. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, stand for 10 hours
3. Ability to work in high temperatures
4. Ability to communicate needs and concerns in a timely manner
5. Ability to read and understand process sheets
6. Ability to hear horns, buzzers, and an intercom page, and respond accordingly
7. Ability to wear proper PPE- eye protection, gloves, and steel or safety toe shoes or boots
8. Ability to use electrical and manual tools
9. Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and drawings
10. Ability to use and understand MIE (MRP system)
