Rochester Presbyterian Home Engagement Partner - Assisted Living Memory Care Community in North Chili, New York

Location: Cottage Grove Memory Care, N. Chili, New York

Status: Part Time - 25 hours/week

Must be available to work every other weekend

Join the Rochester Presbyterian Home family as an Engagement Partner! Be a part of an organization that has provided a loving assisted living community for elders since 1925! Here at RPH, we are honored to have been selected as a Top Workplace by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle two years in a row. RPH is guided by the Eden Alternative philosophy, and we strive to maintain a community where staff and elders view each other as family.

You will develop genuine relationships with the elders living at RPH so that you can plan and deliver the activities that will combat what we believe to be the main plagues to our health and well-being: Loneliness, Helplessness and Boredom.

You will promote and communicate recreational opportunities ranging from small group programs to large special events as you engage elders through their love of games, art, music, and exercise.

Your creativity and enthusiasm will know no bounds in your development and delivery of your ideas. Knowing each elder’s personal story will allow you to match their hobbies through games, art, music, and exercise.

We want you as part of our family so you can connect with our staff and elders, so you can show your talents as a singer, dancer, artist, poet, historian, or game and trivia master!

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, team spirited and share a deep respect and affection for elders. They are flexible, foster harmony, and share in spontaneity.

If you could see yourself growing with and contributing to the RPH family, take a closer look at what else we offer: competitive wages, comprehensive employee benefits and other incentives all in an environment of mutual respect, care and acceptance.
