Aerotek Maintenance Technician in North Chesterfield, Virginia
The Industrial Maintenance Technician supports plant operations by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to work across multiple systems, and a commitment to safe, reliable plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues on production machinery and equipment.
Perform basic mechanical repairs using standard maintenance tools, techniques, and practices.
Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, including lubricating, aligning, adjusting, and cleaning equipment.
Perform basic welding for repair and fabrication of mechanical components.
Assist with work on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and combustion systems as needed.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Support mechanics and machine operators with multi‑task maintenance functions.
Monitor equipment condition and optimize the use of planned outages for maintenance activities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Chesterfield, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
