Job Title: Warehouse Operator - 1st Shift Job Description
As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for receiving and signing for raw material deliveries, inspecting them for quality conformance, and verifying their accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
Responsibilities
Receive and sign for raw material deliveries.
Check deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
Inspect materials to ensure quality conformance.
Receive materials in SAP and upload documents to Basecamp.
Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
Unload packages from incoming trucks.
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.).
Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SAP for inventory management.
Experience in cycle counts and inventory control.
Competence in material handling and shipping & receiving.
Forklift operation experience.
Knowledge of supply chain processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to perform cycle count inventory in accordance with the cycle count monthly schedule.
Experience collaborating with the Inventory Specialist on inventory discrepancies.
Capability to coordinate with Purchasing on immediate inventory needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
Experience with logistics, warehouse inventory, and freight management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
