Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We’re looking for a Quality Inspector who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and knows how to spot issues before they become problems. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our products meet customer, engineering, and industry standards—every time.
Responsibilities
Perform in‑process and final inspections on parts, assemblies, or finished products
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tools
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Identify non‑conforming material and determine accept/reject criteria
Document inspection results and communicate findings to production and quality teams
Support root cause analysis, rework, and corrective actions
Maintain inspection equipment and verify calibration status
Follow all safety, quality, and 5S standards
Preferred Skills
Strong attention to detail and the confidence to hold the line on quality
Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Comfortable working from prints, specs, and quality standards
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
