Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
Join our team as an A&P Mechanic where you will be performing line and overnight hangar maintenance on the Boeing Dreamlifter (B747-400) aircraft at the Charleston, SC Airport within the Boeing Facility. This role offers inspection and maintenance training for this role.
Responsibilities
Perform line and overnight hangar maintenance on Boeing Dreamlifter (B747-400) aircraft.
Remove and replace aircraft parts and perform repair to keep aircraft operational and flight schedules on time.
Document Maintenance tasks
Work within a Boeing facility to maintain aircraft standards.
Shift : 4 Days on, 3 Days Off
1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 6:00 PM
2nd Shift: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM
3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Starting Pay Rate : $32.00 - $38.00 an hour
Position Requirements
Must have valid FAA A&P license.
Must have 1 - 2 years of Aircraft Line Maintenance Experience
Boeing aircraft maintenance expereince is preferred but not required.
Must be eligible for Boeing and SIDA badge
Must have basic set of A&P Mechanic tools and tool box

Work Environment
The work environment is at CHS - Charleston, SC Airport, focusing on line maintenance and hangar maintenance. The station has been operational since November 2021 and continues to expand. Flexibility for day and night shifts is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
