Robert Half Help Desk Technician in North Canton, Ohio
Description We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team on a contract basis in North Canton, Ohio. This position will provide essential IT support to ensure smooth operations during a staffing need. The role will be for approximately 30-60 days and offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10 operating systems.
• Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.
• Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Utilize Microsoft Intune to assist with device management and security.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
• Document solutions and maintain accurate records of all support activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to understand and address their IT concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures while providing support.
• Assist in maintaining smooth IT operations during staffing transitions. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for device and security management.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory and user account management.
• Experience working with Windows 10 operating systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with managing and resolving service desk tickets.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and end-users effectively.
• Attention to detail and the ability to document processes accurately.
