Adecco US, Inc. Process Support Engineer - Cold Heading in North Branch, Minnesota

Seeking a Process Support Engineer to help optimize production processes, support operational troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a cold heading environment. This role ensures manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while providing technical guidance to production teams.

The ideal candidate has experience with metal forming or cold heading equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and document processes for consistent, high-quality production.

Process Support Engineer – Cold Heading Operations

Responsibilities

  • Support production operations by assisting with troubleshooting, setup, and operation of cold heading machinery.

  • Develop, document, and maintain process instructions, setup procedures, and standard work for specific part numbers and equipment.

  • Train production personnel on process requirements and proper machine setup.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including error-proofing, corrective actions, and process optimization.

  • Assist in supervising production employees and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Execute manufacturing plans while ensuring production targets, quality specifications, and delivery deadlines are met.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and implement process improvements.

  • Create process documentation, capacity models, and operating instructions to support efficient production.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years in a related field).

  • 1–5 years of experience in process engineering preferred; new graduates with relevant internship or project experience may apply.

  • Hands-on experience with multi-die cold heading equipment (e.g., National, Sacma, Hatebur, or equivalent).

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical documents, drawings, and specifications.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present technical information clearly.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Global Shop or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and across multiple functions.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
