The outdoor patio showcases a truly unique feature — a 40-foot Delta Deadrise boat transformed into a full-service bar . The boat bar offers 23 bar seats and approximately 50 additional patio table seats , creating a dynamic and memorable outdoor dining space.

Job Overview

Assist Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations. Responsible for complete restaurant operation in absence of manager and assist the F&B Director to achieve private dining/event sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor servers, server assistants, bartenders, and other restaurant associates and ensure adherence to all service standards and SOPs, including inspecting staff for correct, clean, complete uniform, clean polished shoes, general appearance standards, and tracking attendance.

  • Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service.

  • Monitor/inspect the side-work duty completion by servers, server assistants, and bartenders.

  • Maintain bank to SOP, ensuring it is balanced and secure at all times.

  • Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift. Check for all personnel call offs and ensure floor plan is covered.

  • Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas. Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up.

  • Communicate daily with restaurant manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc. amd emsure communications with team members to keep them well informed of activities.

  • Assist restaurant managers in conducting menu classes and taste panels.

  • Create BEO packets and maintain an adequate supply of menus are available for all shifts.

  • Maintain and update office calendar with all new events

  • Assist in the execution of private events

  • Assist with the planning and execution of restaurant level promotions such as beer dinners, wine dinners, chef classes etc.

  • Assist with Social Media Platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.

  • Assist the F&B Director by developing relationships with residential concierges in the local trade area, distributing promotional items inclusive of menus, offers, etc. Assist with weekly visits to ensure best positioning of brand in key areas. Track and report results.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

More than two (2) years of post-high school education or equivalent.

Experience

Experience required by position is from one to two full years of employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).

Knowledge/Skills

  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession. This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or complex problems and food and beverage management.

  • Must have excellent oral communication for communicating with guests and associates, issuing instructions and communicating policies.

  • Excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters. Interpreting instructions from superiors.

  • Excellent vision required for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, reading floor plans, charts, schedules, and preparation of all documentation

  • Excelent reading and writing abilities for completing paperwork, management reports, giving and receiving instructions. and preparation/review of all documentation and training.

  • Excellent hearing required to discern/resolve complaints, issues and participation in meetings for feedback.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs - Excel, Word, Powerpoint,

  • Proficient in Social Media Platforms.

  • Abilitiy to hear, speak, read and write English fluently for completing paperwork and management reports, giving and receiving instructions, and preparing/reviewing of all docummentation and training.

  • Effective business writing skills

  • Ability to maintain strong internal and customer relationships

  • Ability to maintain a professional/responsible manner, good judgment, detail-oriented, friendly and responsible under stress.

  • Maintain extreme confidentiality and manage sensitive and confidential situations tactfully.

  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must be punctual and well-prepared

  • Ability to problem solve and work independently.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry tables, chairs, trays, plates, and chaffing dishes on a daily basis, 20 -40 lbs.

  • Bending -Bend to pick up dropped items as needed. Bend to assist in serving food or getting supplies.

  • No kneeling required.

  • Mobility -95% of shift covering all areas of outlets supervising.

  • Continuous standing to assist at hostess station -minimal stationary standing. Climbing stairs -varies by location.

  • No driving required.

Environment

Inside 95% of work day. Temperatures can exceed 100 degrees if working at location with outside dining facilities and when assisting in kitchen
