On-Call Leasing Consultant / Resident Assistant

Location: Norman, OK

Job Type: On-Call / Part-Time

Reports To: Property Manager

Unit Count: 110

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused On-Call Leasing Consultant / Resident Assistant to support our residential community during peak traffic times, staff absences, and special events. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service, supporting leasing efforts, and assisting residents with day-to-day needs.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Marketing Support

  • Greet and tour prospective residents

  • Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries

  • Process rental applications and assist with lease paperwork

  • Maintain knowledge of pricing, availability, and community features

  • Assist with outreach marketing efforts and resident events

    Resident Relations & Administrative Support

  • Provide exceptional customer service to current residents

  • Assist with food deliveries to resident rooms

  • Monitor the phone and call system for the residents requiring immediate assistance

  • Assist in resident functions as requested

  • Collection and removal of trash as directed

  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs

  • Help coordinate maintenance requests and follow-ups

  • Support rent collection processes and general office duties

  • Maintain accurate records in property management software

    Operational Support

  • Ensure the leasing office and model units are clean and presentable

  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management

  • Follow Fair Housing guidelines and company policies

    Qualifications

  • Previous leasing, hospitality, customer service, or administrative experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent knowledge of leasing rules and regulations

  • Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software

  • Ability to work flexible, on-call hours including evenings/weekends

  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
