Job Description
The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects The candidate will be an important member of the team to ensure that the goals & deadlines of this area are achieved.
Job Responsibilities
Greets and provides customer service to fitness center guests
Performs administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, record maintenance, etc.
Ensures the fitness equipment is in accurate working order by cleaning and maintaining equipment, reports maintenance needs to management
Ensures staff are adhering to NCED/Aramark policies and procedures
Ensures guests are adhering to fitness center safety policies and procedures
Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
Upkeep Fitness Center by actively cleaning and maintaining weight room, pool, gymnasium, and hallways
Other duties and tasks as assigned by managerAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the fitness industry or related role (1-2 years) preferred
Degree in field of study (Kinesiology, Health exercise science, etc.) preferred
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
CPR/First Aid certification required
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
