The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the repair process, ensuring customer equipment and components are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards. This role serves as the key liaison between customers, vendors, and internal repair teams, overseeing repair intake, quoting, scheduling, tracking, and final delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and log incoming repair requests, ensuring all required information is documented (equipment details, failure description, urgency, and customer requirements). Verify warranty status, repair eligibility, and necessary approvals before processing.

  • Serve as the main point of contact between customers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the repair process. Provide clear and timely updates on repair status, timelines, and costs. Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, or service partners to source parts, arrange inspections, or outsource repairs when required.

  • Work with sales and technical staff to generate accurate repair quotes. Obtain customer approval on scope, cost, and lead times before authorizing work. Ensure purchase orders and repair orders are created and tracked properly.

  • Monitor repair work in progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Coordinate shop workload, prioritizing urgent jobs as needed. Track repair progress in ERP/CRM systems and maintain accurate records.

  • Review completed repairs to ensure quality standards are met before release. Arrange delivery or pickup of repaired items and confirm customer satisfaction. Support warranty claims or follow-up service as needed.

  • Identify opportunities to improve repair workflows, reduce turnaround times, and enhance customer experience. Maintain organized records of repair histories to assist with root cause analysis and reliability tracking.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management, service operations, pump rotating equipment repair, or industrial equipment preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple repairs simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of pumps, seals, or rotating equipment is a plus.

  • Detail-Oriented – Ensures all repair documentation and steps are handled accurately.

  • Customer-Focused – Keeps customers informed and ensures their needs are met.

  • Problem-Solving – Handles unexpected delays or repair challenges with urgency and creativity.

  • Team Collaboration – Works effectively with sales, service, and vendor partners.

  • Accountability – Takes ownership of repair outcomes from intake through final delivery.

Pay Range:

$3,899.70 - $6,325.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
