Job Description

The Lead Streaming and Video Production Specialist serves as a senior member of the production team, providing leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality media productions.

  • Demonstrated expertise in applying industry best practices in video production, with the ability to remain current on emerging technologies, trends, and evolving production standards.

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new equipment, software, and workflows, and effectively train and support others in their adoption and use.

  • Strong professionalism and composure when working in high-stakes, fast-paced, and high-pressure production environments.

  • Extensive knowledge of live streaming platforms, production workflows, and troubleshooting techniques to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Advanced understanding of video production systems, including multiple camera types, audio systems, lighting design, and the integration of equipment across various platforms and environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning from concept to delivery, maintaining timelines, meeting deadlines, and defining scopes of work.

  • Manage creating and collaborating on project workflows, scopes of work, signal flow charts and other production documentation needed on request.

  • Proficient editing skills will be required as some projects will need post-production handled by this team.

Conditions of Employment

This position is a traditional 40 hour, 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday on-campus role. There will be some nights and weekends as needed.
