TEKsystems Inside Sales Representative in Norfolk, Virginia
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Inside Sales Representative to support new and existing customers through phone, email, and fax communication. This role is responsible for order entry, quoting, pricing support, and customer follow‑up while working closely with outside sales representatives to ensure a high level of service. This position is ideal for someone with inside sales, customer service, or strong data entry experience who is eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Sell products and services to new and existing customers via telephone, email, and fax
Enter sales orders and quotes accurately and efficiently
Provide customers with pricing, product details, and availability information
Communicate pricing and updated delivery information to customers and outside sales representatives
Assist walk‑in customers as needed
Ensure catalog data and pricing shared with customers is current and accurate
Follow up on customer inquiries, complaints, and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution
Track and follow up on all customer quotes to determine outcomes
Attend department and company‑wide meetings as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or data entry
Industry experience is flexible; industrial sales experience is a plus
Strong data entry and computer skills (training provided as needed)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Customer‑service oriented with strong follow‑through
High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment:
Hours - 7:30-4:30 with 1 hour lunch
Business casual
Office‑based role supporting customers and outside sales teams
Collaborative, fast‑paced environment with training and support provided

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
