Job Description
Our client is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to serve as a hands-on DevOps lead within the engineering organization. This role is not an architect position and not a line-development role. Instead, it is designed for a seasoned DevOps professional who excels at problem-solving, troubleshooting, and enabling delivery across teams. This engineer will act as a calm, communicative owner of build and deployment systems — someone with strong situational awareness who understands how systems, people, and processes connect.

Skills and Requirements
6–8+ years of experience in DevOps or build/deploy engineering roles
Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure
Hands-on experience with:
Azure infrastructure
Azure DevOps (classic + YAML pipelines)
Terraform (including modularization)
PowerShell scripting
Application development experience supporting build and release processes, including:
C# / .NET applications or
Front-end technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, or Node.js
Proven experience supporting application build and release pipelines
Working knowledge of SQL Server (read/write operations and deployment considerations)
Experience with IIS on Windows
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
Strong communication skills and situational awareness — able to see beyond tasks and understand broader impact
Comfortable working independently and managing your own time Linux experience
Java exposure
Experience working with Jira as a Project tracking tool
Experience supporting database-focused DevOps initiatives
