ManpowerGroup Maintenance Supervisor on 1st in Norcross, Georgia
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on 1st shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor on 1st, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and facility operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor on 1st
Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000
What's the Job?
Assess all damaged and non-functional equipment and determine the necessary corrective actions for repairs.
Delegate assignments and provide guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure efficient operations.
Lead the maintenance team’s response to production and facility needs, including equipment breakdowns and system upgrades.
Support troubleshooting and repair of machinery and systems such as PLCs (Allen-Bradley), cookers, spice delivery systems, and spiral freezers.
Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed and completed accurately by the maintenance team.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
Prior maintenance experience in the food or meat industry is preferred.
2-4 years of supervisory experience leading maintenance teams.
Proficiency in plumbing, 480V electrical, welding, refrigeration, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls.
Knowledge of PLC systems, safety protocols such as HACCP, Lockout/Tagout, GMP, and sanitation standards.
