Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain application servers, troubleshoot issues, maintain documentation, coordinate with Optum IT security
Perform security and server patches, system upgrades, implement and maintain alert systems
Build and maintain professional working relationships with technical staff from multiple internal and external customers
Provide dedicated premium level technical support of the CES application servers
Develop SQL queries and scripts for troubleshooting purposes and to provide resolutions to technical issues
Create technical documentation and product alerts for known issues that contain detailed issue descriptions, resolutions, and workarounds
Act as advocate for clients as you liaison with Optum security and environment administrators
Collaborate with technical Implementation and AMS support teams
Develop, document, and maintain best practices for managing servers
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Graduate degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience maintaining Windows servers
2+ years of experience in Systems Analysis, systems support, or IT Development
Production Software Support experience
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proven excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
UnitedHealth Group work experience
Familiarity or experience working with the CES (Claims Edit System) software
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects at once
