Job Summary: In this position, you will be responsible for providing Implementation and operational support of the entire employee benefits life cycle. The position will include oversight of many key operational tasks that are part of the overall UMS Benefit Services lifecycle. Must have a proven track record of being able to work effectively in a task-oriented environment with a high attention to detail and quality of work output.
Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
● Have experience in the COBRA implementation to update the Benefits/Plans/Rates/Notices
● Process the following items for multiple customers in a timely manner with a high level of customer service and quality: Mainly COBRA (Complete COBRA), Health and Welfare, Life events, new hires, haste enrollments, Evidence of Insurability (EOI) forms, dependent eligibility verification, work status events, appeals, HSA administration, and payroll adjustments
● Complete customer data audits based on pre-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
● Drive to specialize in certain tasks
● Ability to successfully track time spent on tasks/activities and follow departmental protocols
● Identify process improvement opportunities based on current workflows in the department and communicate with leadership

● Proficient using the Microsoft Suite of software
● Excellent judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions (Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training)
● Bachelor’s degree (B.Com./B.Sc./B.A.) or equivalent
● Experience with Benefit Administration Software and/or other HCM Benefits Administration technology solutions is preferred
