Primary Responsibilities:
Partner with application teams to design and execute migrations from on‑premises or legacy hosting into Azure, AWS, and GCP
Provide architectural guidance aligned to Well‑Architected pillars (security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence)
Help teams modernize workloads using cloud‑native services where appropriate
Identify and mitigate migration risks related to security, availability, and cost
Develop Infrastructure as Code and GitHub Action workflows to deploy cloud resources
Utilize enterprise platform tools to provision and manage cloud resources
Support day‑to‑day operations of public cloud environments, including on-call responsibilities and scheduled maintenance tasks
Monitor cloud hosted applications, investigate alerts, and assist with incident resolution
Follow runbooks to troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues
Participate in incident reviews and learn from post‑incident analysis
Perform scheduled cloud configuration changes during daily maintenance windows
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Create and enhance automation using Python and PowerShell
Execute repeatable processes for provisioning, configuration, and cleanup
Help reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency
Apply security best practices when deploying and operating cloud resources
Assist with identifying and remediation cloud vulnerabilities
Assist with identifying unused or underutilized resources for cost optimization
Learn and apply principles from the Well‑Architected Framework
Work closely with senior cloud engineers and application teams
Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing
Actively build skills across Azure, AWS, and GCP
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the Cloud Support team

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles
Hands‑on experience with at least one public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Experience using Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool
Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure fundamentals (compute, networking, identity, storage)
Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, version control, and automation
Solid troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
Foundational certification in public cloud technologies (i.e. Azure Fundamentals)
Experience supporting mission-critical applications deployed to multiple public cloud platforms
Experience working in an enterprise or regulated environment
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk
Basic understanding of SRE concepts (SLIs, SLOs, incident response)
