Pearson Advanced Associate - Data Operations in Noida, India
Background Information : Shared Services, a captive unit, based out in Noida enables positive changes in performance and stakeholder engagement through a centralized operating model. Shared services is a global function supporting Pearson Higher Education. As a team, we manage a variety of data processes to ensure that data is valid, accurate and compliant with governed rules. We also provide solutioning to business teams if they require changes in the database or in the functionality of any tool. As content continues to proliferate across multiple emerging digital platforms, our team provides resources to enable scalability and cost containment. Role Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team in the role of Associate, Data Operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems and workflows. The individual will support data lifecycle management, execute operational processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:
● Manage data within Pearson Global Application (Oracle), ensuring accuracy and reliability.
● Ensure data integrity and compliance with established governance standards and business rules.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, managers, and peers through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
● Adapt quickly to new processes and provide support for ad-hoc information requests and operational queries.
● Maintain operational continuity by documenting procedures, identifying irregularities, and communicating required actions to management.
Candidate Profile:
Core Technical/Functional Competencies:
● Should have operations knowledge (preferably worked on Oracle)
● Should have good English communication skills, both oral and written.
● Should have good knowledge of working on MS Office/MS Excel
● Should be a good team player
Education, Qualifications & Training
● Essential: Candidate should be post-graduate in any discipline or carry professional degree.
● Desired: Formal experience in managing business systems and portals.
Previous Experience
● Essential: Two to three years of experience in data management
● Desirable: Prior experience in a publishing company
