Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in NIWC LANT Charleston, South Carolina
Summary You will serve as an Administrative Specialist in the Corporate Operations (80000) of NIWC ATLANTIC, providing oversight and leadership for the Command's Support Agreements Program. Responsibilities You will administer the Command's Support Agreements Program, ensuring activities comply with established procedures and requirements, as noted in OPNAVINST 40000.84C and DoDINST 40000.19. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration on support agreement details. You will prepare reports and presentations to communicate support agreement process and program performance to stakeholders. You will develop, maintain, and annually monitor support agreements, and conduct comprehensive reviews to confirm ongoing alignment. You will maintain records to track support agreement status and related administrative details. You will utilize Microsoft 365 tools (such as Outlook, Teams, and Lists) to effectively communicate, collaborate, and track the status of support agreements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications NO-04 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band (NO-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating a solid foundation in administrative procedures; familiarity with relevant regulations and policies; experience supporting program administration, data collection, records management, and preparing documents, reports, and/or training materials; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records; effective communication and collaboration skills; proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications for managing administrative information; and experience leading process improvements in a team environment. NO-03 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band (NO-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating an understanding of administrative procedures; ability to grasp relevant regulations and policies; experience assisting with routine program tasks, data entry, record keeping, and preparing documents/reports; organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records; ability to communicate and work well with others; basic skills using Microsoft 365 applications for office tasks; and experience helping with process improvements as part of a team.
