The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for a Probationary Track Social Studies Teacher.
ASSIGNMENT: Social Studies; 1.0 FTE; 10 months per year;
The Niskayuna Central School District is seeking an educator to join our Alternative Education program, a student-centered setting designed to support learners through small-group instruction and individualized pathways. The program operates with a non-traditional, flexible daily structure that prioritizes what works best for students, allowing educators to adjust pacing, grouping, and instructional approaches while guiding students toward meeting New York State high school Social Studies requirements. This role is well-suited for educators who value strong relationships, instructional flexibility, and problem-solving in a dynamic environment. Job Qualifications
New York State Teacher Certification: Social Studies 7-12.
