UL, LLC Laboratory Chemist Associate in Ningbo, China
Perform routine and non-routine chemical laboratory tests according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods;
Prepare samples, reagents, and calibration standards for testing and analysis;
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other analytical equipment;
Accurately record, analyze, and interpret test data; prepare test reports and technical documentation
Ensure test results meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations
Assist in test method development, validation, and optimization
Maintain laboratory organization, chemical inventory, and proper waste disposal
Comply with laboratory safety, EHS, and quality system requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025)
Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
1–5 years of experience in chemical testing or analytical laboratory work (excellent fresh graduates may be considered)
Hands-on experience with chemical analysis techniques and laboratory instrumentation
Familiarity with laboratory quality systems and testing standards
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Good understanding of laboratory safety and chemical handling practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office and laboratory data management systems
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
Experience in complete system or full product (machine-level) testing is preferred
