Accounts Receivable Clerk
Adecco is actively recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk position with NCP Coatings in the paint manufacturing industry. In this role, you will support cash flow operations by handling invoicing, cash application, and collections while collaborating with Shipping, Sales, Customer Service, and accounting teams. You will work closely with internal systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely customer payments.

Key Responsibilities
Generate and distribute customer invoices based on shipped orders and Bills of Lading using BatchMaster ERP
Verify invoice accuracy including pricing, freight, taxes, and customer?specific terms
Post and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards) in Sage 300
Maintain customer accounts, credit limits, and payment terms
Monitor A/R aging and follow up on past?due accounts professionally
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and short pays
Prepare A/R aging reports and cash receipt reports
Assist with month?end close activities related to A/R
Support internal and external audits with proper documentation
Maintain organized records in SharePoint and internal systems
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
1–3 years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience
Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Working knowledge of A/R processes and basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, time management, and problem?solving skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
