Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a General Labor to join their team. As a General Labor, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the efficient and safe manufacturing of high-quality food products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Labor
Location: Niles, IL
Pay Range: $19
Shift: 4 Days per week, 10.5 Hours per shift
What's the Job?
Perform hands-on work on production and assembly lines, including packing, recasing, repackaging, and product rework across multiple lines.
Support production by maintaining line speed while meeting quality and appearance standards.
Prepare, stage, and replenish materials, packaging, and supplies during production runs.
Accurately verify production codes, dates, and labels to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Build, stack, and hand-palletize finished goods in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
What's Needed?
No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to perform manual tasks including packing, moving cases, and rework activities.
Strong attention to detail to verify codes, labels, and product standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support team efforts.
Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
